Job purpose

As a Senior QA Engineer in Software Testing, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will lead the development and execution of testing strategies, mentor junior QA team members, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Test design techniques, testing types, testing tools, Azure, JIRA, DICOM, Web and mobile testing, device testing, Windows.

Duties and responsibilities

• 7+ Years’ experience in the software industry with experience in testing Web, Mobile and desktop applications
• Good Knowledge of Quality Assurance techniques & methodologies and a better understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases to ensure robust testing coverage
• Perform test design, test execution, and prepare test data.
• Execute both manual and automated tests to validate the functionality, performance, and security of software applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and issues, and work with development teams to prioritize and resolve them.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Experience working in Agile teams with exposure to detailing PBIs with multiple stakeholder
• Conduct regression testing to ensure ongoing software stability.
• Stay updated on emerging testing trends, tools, and best practices.
• Optimize and improve testing processes to enhance software quality.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA team members

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related role.
• Proficiency in test case design techniques, test execution, and defect management.
• Familiarity with both manual and automated testing tools and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
